架狀
具有由一系列[ZO4]四面體以角頂相連成三維無(wú)限伸展的架狀硅氧骨干的硅酸鹽礦物。除極個(gè)別例外,幾乎所有架狀硅氧骨干中的每個(gè)[ZO4]四面體均以其全部的四個(gè)角頂與相鄰四面體共用而相連接,所有的O2-全為橋氧。當(dāng)Z全部為Si4+時(shí),硅氧骨干本身電荷以達(dá)平衡,不能再與其他 陽(yáng)離子相鍵合。
石英族礦物的 晶體結(jié)構(gòu)正好就是如此。因此,從化學(xué)組成上石英族礦物(SiO2)歸屬于氧化物礦物。但不少人從結(jié)構(gòu)角度把它們歸屬于架狀結(jié)構(gòu)硅酸鹽礦物。為了能有剩余的負(fù)電荷再與其他金屬陽(yáng)離子相結(jié)合,一般的架狀硅氧骨干中均有部分Si4+被Al3+或較少被Be2+、B3+等 類質(zhì)同象替代。故絕大多數(shù)架狀結(jié)構(gòu)硅酸鹽礦物都是 鋁硅酸鹽。與骨架相結(jié)合的金屬 陽(yáng)離子主要是電價(jià)低而半徑大的K+、Na+、Ca2+、Ba2+等。
