根據(jù)地理情況前進(jìn)后退與提升大臂，動(dòng)作要靈活，料斗內(nèi)如有大塊石頭、泥巴等一定要清理。
要經(jīng)常檢查鏈條螺絲、銷子及傳動(dòng)系統(tǒng)各固定點(diǎn)緊固件一定牢固。
停機(jī)時(shí)應(yīng)使料斗內(nèi)沙子少于1/2，把大臂慢慢提起，直至水下四角輪露出水面。料斗內(nèi)無(wú)沙子，然后將前柴油機(jī)停機(jī)，再停后柴油機(jī)。
遇有大風(fēng)（5級(jí)以上）應(yīng)暫時(shí)停機(jī)，以免發(fā)生故障，抽沙船檢修或更換零部件時(shí)應(yīng)停機(jī)工作，以免發(fā)生人身傷亡事故。
